A superb antique Victorian Leather backed Library desk chair. This was made in England, it dates from the 1870-1890 period.
It is of fantastic quality, it is extremely well made and very comfortable. The wood frame has beautifully turned front baluster legs with carved florets at the knees , with lovely scrolled carving on the front of the arms. The leather is absolutely beautiful, it may or may not be original but it definitely has quite a bit of age to it.
We have had the frame re-polished , the leather has been revived and hand coloured by our leather restorer. The condition is superb for its age, with a gorgeous overall patina.
