Absolutely exquisite huge, thick, solid sterling silver fully restored asprey london 1971 serving platter this is the largest and finest serving platter i have ever seen, the thickness and gauge of the silver is mind blowing, it is a whopping 2.3 kilos of pure silver! the piece has the wonderful scalloped edge with clamp shell decoration, it is fully hallmarked to the back with the sideways facing lion for sterling silver, the rosette for sheffield and the date letter d for 1971, it also has the stamp a&c l for asprey and co ltd and then finally it's engraved asprey london this has been fully restored by the genius that is clive burr, he was a silversmith for asprey’s bond street for years and is the finest i have ever worked with dimensions height:- 37.5cm width:- 50cm depth:- 3cm weight:- 2275 grams please note all measurements are taken at the widest point condition please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
