a bold space age pendant lamp by harvey guzzini, italy, 1970s. The shade is a wide, lens-shaped disc of orange acrylic suspended from a chrome canopy. A white opal glass diffuser hangs below it—the two elements together create the classic two-tone guzzini effect, which appears warm and sculptural when illuminated.
harvey guzzini was founded in 1963 by six brothers in recanati and became one of the most renowned italian lighting design houses before being renamed iguzzini in 1974.
