Hartmut Lohmeyer trained as an architect at the Technical University in Karlsruhe, where he studied under Egon Eiermann before becoming a furniture designer. During the 1950s and 1960s, he created a range of residential furniture for Wilkhahn. An absolutely stunning design — of the highest craftsmanship and exceptionally comfortable to sit in.
