Energetic black lines move across layered passages of ochre, muted gray, mauve, rust, and deep blue, creating a composition that feels both architectural and spontaneous.

Jackie Lipton is an established New York abstract artist whose career has spanned several decades. Her work has received award and foundation recognition, including support from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, reflecting her longstanding contribution to contemporary American abstraction.

The irregular edges of the paper remain visible, preserving the immediacy and handmade character of the composition. Professionally matted and framed in New York in a contemporary silver-tone frame, with the New York art services label and the artist’s name retained on the reverse. The complete framed piece measures approximately 12 × 10 inches and remains in very good overall condition. See less
