This vintage Arts and Crafts style table lamp, distinguished by its prominent amber mica paneled shade and an octagonal or hexagonal heavy metal columnar base.Design and HistoryMica Shade: The shade is crafted from natural mineral sheets of mica bonded together, producing a warm, textured organic glow when illuminated. The panes are secured within dark, clean-lined metal frames typical of late 19th and early 20th-century American craftsmanship.Arts & Crafts Movement: This design heavily draws inspiration from iconic Mission and Craftsman designers like Dirk van Erp and Frank Lloyd Wright, emphasizing geometric structural forms, exposed functional joinery, and natural mineral or metallic materials.
The heavy column features a rich, dark patinated bronze or brass finish that grounds the warm amber color tones of the shade above it.
