A brilliant and exceptional completely original vintage unmolested Industrial Machine Age Brass "C" arm articulating table lamp designed and manufactured … Read more A brilliant and exceptional completely original vintage unmolested Industrial Machine Age Brass "C" arm articulating table lamp designed and manufactured by Faries Lighting circa 1910's. This highly functional form consists of burly solid cast iron Brass shrouded base that supports the vertical extension arm and short shade joint with its suspended cone shaped early dark green cased glass Emeralite shade creating a brilliant sculpture of form and space all very well engineered and assembled. Original "Hubbel" paddle key socket switch has been fitted with new braided cotton wrapped insulated wire to match the original and is perfectly safe and functional. I have handled dozens of these over decades of hunting and can say without a doubt this is the most originally pristine example I have ever seen (even the original underside green felt halo in the last pic is fully attached and clean!)...it does not get any better and you will never seen one this pristine again! CONDITION: This stunning lamp is in exceptional barely used vintage condition, completely intact and fully functional. All original Brass hardware is brilliant overall, clean and blemish free aside from some faint usage marks and slight age tarnish spots. The turn screw joints are clean and operate freely without issue while the Emeralite cased glass shade is equally as clean with no blemishes to its dark green & white cased glass finish. I have upgraded the original stiff braided wiring with identical new braided cotton wrapped insulated wiring to complete the superb condition making it completely safe and functional. DIMENSIONS: This pristine lamps general dimensions are 23"-28" high and 11" deep as shown in its fixed positions. The shade is 7" tall x 6" diameter, standard size screw in edison bulb is NOT included.
