The lamps brilliant elegantly arched Deco form and sleek brass stepped horn shaped shade with unique glass halo section strikes an impressive sillouhete while casting an ideal ambient light that compliments the overall design. Very similar in design to other fine Art Deco lamps of the period created by Markel and Faries but neither of those manufactures ever made a lamp with this unique inset glass Halo shade effect. CONDITION: This striking and unique Streamline Art Deco table lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. The solid Brass hardware is brilliant showing just mild signs of wear and light natural age patina tarnish. The weighted base shroud is original polished chrome plated steel and is super clean with just a few age tarnish spots. The stylishly stepped Brass shade with its Milk White colored art glass Halo is brilliant with no blemishes or damage evident with just some residual age tarnish patina. Original socket with rotary turn switch and and more recently replaced insulated power cord have been cleaned, inspected and tested to be completely safe and functional. DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions as shown are 15" tall with an overall width of 10" in shown position, the shade is approx. 6.5" diameter. Standard size edison style screw in bulb is NOT included.
