Desk chair "1904" by Jörgen Rasmussen for Knoll International, 1967
A timeless design classic from the late 1960s: Jörgen Rasmussen designed this office chair with its striking polished aluminum frame – a delicate, organically shaped base that rests on five casters and is height-adjustable and swivels. The seat and oval backrest are upholstered in a textured wool blend in anthracite/brown, giving the chair its warm, textile character.
The combination of the sculptural metal base and simple upholstery with a wool fabric cover by Kvadrat makes this model a real eye-catcher – functional as a work chair and at the same time a statement piece for lovers of Scandinavian industrial design from the 1960s.
