This magnificent postmodern stoneware centerpiece bowl represents an exceptional example of avant-garde Italian ceramics from the 1970s. Designed by master ceramist Franco Bucci for the iconic Pesaro workshop, this imposing work perfectly captures the bold graphic energy and optical experimentation of the era.
The bowl features a striking, high-contrast two-tone aesthetic. The wide, structural outer rim is finished with a deep, glossy piano black glaze that dramatically frames the vibrant turquoise-aquamarine base. The piece's true highlight is the mesmerizing concentric spiral relief engraved in the turquoise center.
