An imposing pair of neoclassical pinwheel candelabras from the louis xvi era, late 18th century. The wooden base is lacquered in a faux marble imitation of lapis lazuli, with gold leaf inserts. The gilded bronze arms rise from the base, richly adorned with cut crystal pendants in transparent, cobalt blue, and emerald green, culminating in a large crystal pine cone.
excellent condition, original crystals, minor chipping on two or three elements.
