A ceramic lamp signed Louis Dage in the 1940s.
Louis Dage (1885–1961) was a French ceramist renowned for his major role in the revival of artistic ceramics in the 20th century. A self-taught artist, he began as a painter on earthenware before working in several factories in France and Belgium. He then founded the Faïencerie de l'Adour, where he developed an original style characterized by colorful glazes and decorations inspired by nature and Art Deco.
