Whimsical vintage seated cat sculpture attributed to Jeanne Valentine, handcrafted from papier-mâché and finished in distressed cream, gold, and soft blue.
The piece features an elongated body, expressive face, oversized gold bow, curled tail, raised heart motifs, and decorative scrolling details. Its form, materials, construction, and design closely resemble labeled Jeanne Valentine sculptures from the same collection.
The underside shows a rectangular area where an original label appears to have been removed or lost; therefore, the attribution is based on its design and provenance rather than a surviving maker’s label.
Vintage condition with age-related surface wear, scuffs, finish variation, minor edge wear, and paint loss. The sculpture remains structurally complete and displays well. Please review all photographs for condition.
