Rather than relying on ornament, the design emphasizes precision. The tabletop appears to float above the base through carefully considered shadow lines, while the leg and apron construction creates visual lightness without compromising structural integrity. Every edge is softened by hand, allowing the natural figure of the quarter-sawn oak to remain the primary visual feature.

The table is finished with Osmo Polyx hardwax oil, enhancing the wood’s natural ray fleck and texture while providing a durable, low-sheen surface intended to age gracefully with use.
