Oval pommel decorated with a vegetal wreath, knuckle arch pierced for the sword knot and chased with a stylized acanthus leaf.
Crossguard with a cartouche depicting an allegory of the navy and a half-quillon crossguard with a radiant sun.
Curved quillon with a lion's head.
Ebony grip with a reeded motif.
Curved blade with fullers, engraved, gilt, and blued for one-third of its length.
Leather-covered wooden scabbard.
Double-hook chape depicting Melusine of Lusignan and a scallop shell.
