Pair of 19th Century Rococo Crystal and Silver Ewers.
Solid silver (950), vermeil interior
. Total weight: 1411g.
French work, circa 1850, Napoleon III period.
The necks of the ewers are finely worked with rocaille motifs.
The spout is closed by a lid whose handle is decorated with a raised rocaille motif.
The handle is shaped. The base also features rocaille motifs.
Height: 31 cm.
Resin is present under the base of one ewer to reattach the crystal to its mount.
No flaws in the crystal body.
Provenance: - French private collection.
