An exceptional and highly sought-after piece of Danish Modernism, this "Model 20" executive desk was designed by Svend Åge Madsen and manufactured by H.P. Hansen's Møbelindustri in Randers, Denmark. Purchased new by the current owner while stationed overseas in the Air Force in 1972. This desk has been carefully maintained, treated monthly with Teak Oil to keep it well conditioned, and remains in beautiful vintage condition.

The desk features a striking architectural "floating" top that provides a sense of lightness, complemented by Madsen’s signature sculpted teak drawer pulls. Designed to be a centerpiece, the fully finished reverse side boasts an open display bookshelf and a locking cabinet, allowing the desk to float beautifully in the center of a room or office rather than being confined to a wall.
