An exceptional example of a rare pair of late Eighteenth Century period hand colored stipple Portrait Engravings after Richard Westal (1765-1836). Engrave by Thomas Ryder 1746-1810) titled.
“A Boy of Glamorgan Shire” and “A Girl of Carnarvon Shire”
complete with their original slim plain gilt frames within a verre églomisé and 22ct gold surround.
Retailed by Nineteenth Century Art Gallery from Leicester now ceased trading.
Condition: Both are in very good condition with no imperfections. The backs of both have their original backing which shows wonderful age.
Height: (entire picture including frame) 12” (30.5cm). Width: (entire picture including frame) 11” (28cm).
