Beautiful original watercolor painting depicting four carved carousel horses from the historic Hershey Park carousel. Executed by noted American carousel artist Nancy H. Strailey and signed and dated 1982 in the lower right.
The four carousel horses portrayed are from the historic Hershey Park carousel in Hershey, Pennsylvania, one of America's best-known antique carousel collections.
Strailey is recognized for her detailed watercolor portraits of antique carousel animals and has been featured in Carousel News & Trader, where one of her paintings appeared on the cover.
This large, professionally framed artwork captures the expressive carving, movement, and decorative trappings of four classic carousel horses.
