Vintage French bronze commemorative basketball medal depicting two athletes in dynamic relief, signed "Dirago" and dated 1979. The reverse features Olympic rings, a laurel wreath border, and the inscription "CSA Garches 1979," commemorating a local French sporting event. Artistically repurposed with a solid brass U.S. lamp-finial fitting, allowing immediate use on standard American harp-mounted lamps. A distinctive decorative accent for modern, industrial, sports-inspired, or eclectic interiors. This was purchased at a Paris flea market
