Original incised work on paper by Mexican modernist artist Mario López Cano (1928–2006), signed “Mario Cano,” an alternate signature documented for the artist. The composition depicts an architectural cityscape with cathedral towers overlooking a narrow street and two flower vendors below. Executed in a restrained modernist palette with strong perspective and simplified geometric forms.
Presented in its original period wood frame with a painted white inner liner. An impressive vertical composition measuring over 41 inches in height, making it well suited for entryways, hallways, or between windows.
