An authentic early 20th-century French electrical component, thoughtfully repurposed as a distinctive lamp finial with a modern standard 1/4-27 threaded fitting.
Constructed of thick molded glass with its original chrome-plated metal collar, this architectural piece retains its industrial character while finding new life as a functional decorative accent. The base bears the French patent designation "Breveté S.G.D.G.", indicating a patented French manufacture. This was sourced from a Paris Flea market.
Originally designed for use in an electrical installation, it now makes a striking finishing detail for industrial, Art Deco, or modern lamps.
