An exceptional example of a rare pair of late Eighteenth Century period hand colored stipple Portrait Engravings by Francesco Bartolozzi after original artworks by John Hodgess Benwell titled.
“A St. James’s Beauty” and “A St. Giles’s Beauty”
complete with their original polished wooden frames within a verre églomisé and 22ct gold surround.
Condition: Both are in very good condition with no imperfections. The backs of both have their original backing which shows wonderful age.
