A striking pair of Italian style carved wood table lamps featuring a classical neoclassical form with beautifully carved floral swags draped between bold geometric handles. Crafted in the 20th century, these substantial lamps are finished in a warm distressed wood patina that enhances their architectural character and timeless appeal.
The urn shaped bodies are accented with fluted carving, while the gracefully carved swags and block form handles evoke the elegance of Italian Grand Tour and Louis XVI inspired design. Raised on circular stepped bases, the lamps make a sophisticated statement whether placed on a pair of consoles, bedside chests, or flanking a mantel.
Their sculptural quality allows them to function as decorative objects even before shades are added, bringing warmth, texture, and classical refinement to both traditional and transitional interiors.
