Poppe frames the court head-on and close, so the white boundary lines and the flat green surface resolve into pure geometry — the subject stays legible, but the picture reads first as abstract, minimalist composition. It belongs to the graphic, color-driven strand of her work, in which she isolates something extraordinary in overlooked everyday detail. The saturated green makes it a strong single note in a contemporary room or garden room, and a more considered choice for a tennis player's wall than framed memorabilia.
