Rare and iconic glazed terracotta margherita table service designed by antonia campi for the italian company ceramiche laveno, in the 1960s
the set is made of strong earthenware with a brown enamel and stylized plant decorations.
on display at the international museum of ceramic design in laveno, the "margherita" table service is considered the first example of table service design by antonia campi.
the brand present under each plate was imprinted by richard ginori on all those earthenware produced at the laveno plant from 1965 to 1975. The set consists of:
