A unique and highly decorative set of five space age Italian wall mounted coat hooks, manufactured during the 1970s.
Each piece features a smoked mirror glass panel mounted on a molded black plastic body with a chrome steel tube and a plastic chrome ball as a hook.
The combination of smoked mirror, chrome and black molded plastic creates a striking architectural composition characteristic of the finest space-age Italian design.
Originally conceived as functional coat hooks and sculptural wall elements, these pieces can be placed individually or stacked together to create an impressive modular wall installation.
Comparable examples of this model have been published and offered by European design galleries with varying designer attributions.
