Near pair of French Empire Style wall sconces with Louis XVI Revival detailing, dating to the early 20th century. Constructed from heavy cast bronze and brass with hand-wired faceted crystal beadwork in a classic basket form. Decorated with ribbon, wreath and foliate motifs inspired by traditional French neoclassical lighting. The sconces differ slightly in their decorative mounts and dimensions but share the same construction, materials and overall design. Professionally rewired with new wiring and candle-style sockets. Good antique condition with age-related patina and wear.
Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
