Offered for sale is is a 1957 watercolor painting by Carrie Jackson Davidson( 1891-1975). The delicated executed work is signed and dated in the lower right. The work is displayed in a wood frame with a white painted liner and is under glass.
Born in Colorado on Sept. 15, 1891. Mrs. Davidson studied painting in her native state before moving to southern California about 1940. After settling in Pasadena, she remained there until her demise on May 19, 1975. Primarily a landscape painter, her work includes scenes of Palm Springs and Mt Baldy.
