A magnificent and authentic 19th-century Chinese four-door armoire, expertly hand-crafted from solid elmwood (Jumu wood) with a rich, natural oil finish. This exceptional piece features traditional Chinese joinery and functions beautifully as a focal-point wardrobe, linen press, or media center.

Design & Details

The front presentation showcases a beautiful symmetrical grain with a striking, large-scale circular medallion brass lock plate at its center, flanked by individual loop pull-handles on the side panels. The distinctive four-door façade opens fully to reveal a highly organized, dual-compartment interior.

Inside, the cabinet offers excellent storage options across multi-tiered shelving and features four beautifully hidden integrated drawers—two flanking drawers and two central drawers—all fitted with original ring-pull hardware. The lower base is elevated by stout, inset legs accented with a classic carved apron. There is a secret compartment underneath the bottom shelf. See less
