Antique French Christofle Silver-Plated Fluted Asparagus & Pastry Tongs
An authentic antique French silver-plated serving tongs utensil by master silversmith Christofle, Paris. Crafted as a single hinged unit with a spring mechanism, it features two broad, fluted/corrugated fan-form grips. Originally designed in late 19th and early 20th century France for serving individual asparagus spears or delicate pastries. Stamped on one of the handles with the official CHRISTOFLE block name and Christofle's historic Scales of Justice master hallmark punch.
