Collectors heavily prize his large-scale Roundtip Style works because they represent a pivotal, highly documented turning point in contemporary urban calligraphy history. Unlike simple street tags, his gallery canvases utilize highly complex, custom-built brushes and labor-intensive paint-layering techniques that cannot be easily replicated. He transitioned from traditional street tagging in the late 1980s into a gallery-level fine artist, earning elite status for merging underground subculture with high art.

This large and unique piece, titled "Fashion Fascism," is an extremely rare example of some of Stohead’s best work. By combining his recognizable liquid smoke with calligraphy elements and adding new spray paint or brush strokes, he has taken his abstract painting to a new level. Creating compositions that provide the right balance to allow a coexistence of each element was the main focus of the artist when producing these vibrant pieces.

This piece is an original graffiti on canvas, and measures 38.5” x 50.5” unframed and 40.5” x 52” framed.

Both the art and frame have minor wear and imperfections that are consistent with age.
