Massive "Nuts and Bolts" sgraffito stoneware planter by Gainey in pristine condition, made in Southern California c. 1970s. At 19.5" in diameter and 19.25" high, to our knowledge it is the largest pot of this design that Gainey made.
Shown here next to an AC 12 planter for perspective. Two drainage holes on the bottom which appear to be factory.
In terms of both size and condition this piece is a unicorn, seldom seen in the wild.
Note: we placed a thin strip of felt on the bottom of the pot to facilitated photography and storage. This can be removed if desired.
