This signed figurative drawing by internationally recognized Argentine-born artist Ricardo Cinalli comes from a unique series of works created during live studio sessions in New York City in 2001.
During that period, Cinalli was developing concepts for a major private decorative commission in a Park Avenue residence. As part of his creative process, he explored the human figure through a series of life studies, working directly from live models.
The present owner served as one of the artist's models throughout these sessions. Following the project, Ricardo Cinalli personally gifted several drawings from this body of work to the present owner. The works have remained together in the same private collection for more than two decades.
This particular drawing is a signed studio drawing executed by Ricardo Cinalli during those sessions. While it is not an original preparatory sketch, it is an original hand-drawn work by the artist, created and signed by him during the same creative period.
