This antique, Federal-style, flame-mahogany game table, with a swivel and hinged, flip-top mechanism, is quite a showstopper! This table truly showcases, a beautiful cut of mahogany, with geometric inlay of satinwood, around the edges. The inlay at the bottom of the apron, mirrors the top, and there are also oval, mahogany panels that are outlined with string inlay, as well as, the inlay that outlines the square, Hepplewhite legs. When opened, a swing out leg provides support for the expanded playing surface.
Best of all, when it is not in use, the top can be folded in half, making it a Demilune console table, practical for hallways, dining rooms, and living rooms.
When the game table is closed, its measurements are 36“W x 17.5”D x 29”H; when the game table is closed, it’s measurements are 36”W x 36”D x 28”H.
