A magnificent and exceptionally rare mid-century modern European luxury 3-seater lounge sofa designed by Edelhard (Eddie) Harlis (circa 1955).
This authentic "California 989" model features its original full-grain cognac leather upholstery showcasing a stunning natural vintage patina.
We absolutely fell in love with this piece and purchased it on a whim, but unfortunately, it simply does not fit our current space. It is a comfortable, structured statement design that deserves a room where its profile can shine.
The sofa is in awesome cosmetic and structural shape. Notably, the loose bottom cushions have been professionally reconditioned to guarantee exceptional comfort, plushness, and everyday durability.
It features a highly structured, tight-back frame profile and includes the original authentic international furniture distribution label safely preserved beneath the seat cushion
Wonderful condition. Leather is clean, soft, and well-maintained with minor surface wear on bottom corners & beautiful. Frame and support structure are rock solid.
