Limited and numbered lithograph reproduction of The Son of Man (Le fils de l'homme) from 1997 of the iconic 1964 surrealist self-portrait by Belgian artist René Magritte.
This print includes a signature and edition markings in the lower margins, characteristic of authorized posthumous or limited print runs of Magritte's celebrated compositions.
It is number 631/750 from 1997. The pencil signature on lower left is that of Charles Herscovici. Legal representative of the Magritte Estate.
I had the lithograph framed and matted.
The frame is a greenish tint with bronze. The matting is a chocolate hue. The frame and matting accentuate’s the colors of the work very well.
