An original signed painting titled Caribbean by contemporary Canadian artist Rick Bond, celebrated for his vibrant use of color, expressive palette knife work, and bold impressionistic landscapes. This captivating composition depicts a sunlit tropical shoreline framed by lush flowering gardens, graceful palm trees, brilliant turquoise water, and a charming thatched-roof palapa, creating a warm and inviting coastal scene filled with light, texture, and movement.
This is the original commissioned painting—not one of the reproductions. In 2007, F5 Networks commissioned Caribbean as part of its Five Star Recognition Program recognizing exceptional achievement. Following completion of the original artwork, a strictly limited edition of only 70 giclée prints was produced from this painting. The original commission documentation and artist information remain attached to the reverse and will accompany the sale, providing exceptional provenance.
Rick Bond is known for his energetic brushwork, richly layered paint application, and vibrant color palette inspired by his travels throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. His paintings are held in numerous private and corporate collections.
Beautifully presented in an elegant gilt wood frame with a wide linen mat, this piece is ready to hang and makes a striking statement in Palm Beach, British Colonial, Coastal, Tropical, Contemporary, or Transitional interiors.
Condition: Excellent overall condition. The painting retains vibrant original color with richly textured paint and presents beautifully. The gilt frame displays only light, age-appropriate wear consistent with careful ownership. The original artist and commission documentation remain affixed to the reverse and are included with the artwork.
A rare opportunity to acquire the original Rick Bond painting from which a limited edition of only 70 giclée prints was produced, complete with its original provenance documentation.
The visible painting measures 19.5 inches wide by 15.5 inches high, excluding the frame.
