Pair of oval-shaped oil paintings on canvas.
The three paintings are framed in oval-shaped white wooden frames with carved reliefs.
Each piece depicts a different classical ruin, always surrounded by a natural environment dominated by rocks and vegetation that encroaches upon the monument.
The color palette of each piece is inspired by grisaille, highlighting different ranges of light earth tones, emphasized with black and brown borders that contribute to the characteristic and pleasing grisaille effect of the Renaissance painting that inspired it.
