Description: Lombard Empire-style column in Medicea breccia and white Calacatta marble dating from the early 19th century. The cylindrical shaft is smooth and crafted from breccia, creating a high contrast with the base and capital, which are made of white Calacatta marble. The capital features a smooth, simple circular molding with a classical profile that visually connects the shaft to the upper section. The base has a stepped, quadrangular structure topped by a circular molding in veined white marble, designed to ensure maximum stability on the floor. P.S.
