She has been recognized as a leading artist of her generation. Her specific artwork is influenced by her identity and her experiences in the cultural landscape of the American tropics and surroundings. Her stance comes through in the landscapes she creates in the position of nature
which questions deep reflections about accumulation, decay, texture and then transformation.
