The chair is defined by its backrest, which features a lattice of bent teak within an afromosia frame. The angular front legs and slight splay of the rear pair channel early Danish Modern designs by Frits Henningsen.

The seats are upholstered in a soft, gray-green boucle that compliments the earthy tones of the wooden frames.

All chairs in the set have been disassembled and reglued joint by joint. The frames have been lightly sanded and finished in a durable satin lacquer, a process which restores natural lustre and chatoyance to the wood. Some surface-level imperfections remain visible on close inspection.

The chairs are unmarked. The attribution to G-Plan is by industry consensus.
