The collection includes 2 serving or relish trays and 10 matching smaller trays. The small trays are perfect for either individual place settings or to serve a multitude of relishes.

All 12 classic oval, elongated trays feature delicate, hand-painted purple violet clusters paired with soft green foliage. The background is a distinctive yellow and cream color gradient in the center and rich gilded gold trim along the rim and handles.

Marked “CHINA E-OH NIPPON” and “Handpainted”. E-OH Nippon is not a single, standalone manufacturer; rather, it is a line of antique Japanese porcelain produced by regional factories and decorating studios for export to Western markets during the Nippon Era (1891–1921).


MEASUREMENTS
Larger Trays – 13 ½ in (34.3 cm) long x 6 5/8 in (16.8 cm) wide x 1 ½ in (3.8 cm) deep.
Smaller trays – 7 ½ in (19.0 cm) long x 3 7/8 (9.8 cm) in wide x 1 ¼ in (3.2 cm) deep.
Total weight 5 lbs 15 oz.

CONDITION
All dishes have very little wear. Even the gold around the rims is in wonderful condition on all but a few trays, where the wear is mostly confined to the corners.

With its vibrant hand-painted violets, rich gilt accents, this vintage Nippon set is a wonderful addition to any porcelain collection or elegant table setting. See less
