Designed by Adrian Pearsall, the iconic Gondola Sofa is one of the most recognizable pieces of American mid-century modern furniture. Known for its dramatic sculptural silhouette, sweeping walnut frame, and low-profile design, the Gondola has become a highly sought-after collector's piece. This original vintage sofa has been professionally reupholstered in a modern fabric, giving it a fresh, updated look while preserving its timeless design. There is some minor wear to the upholstery consistent with light use, but the sofa is overall in very good condition and presents beautifully.
This sofa was acquired by the current owner from an established antique dealer and has since been professionally reupholstered. The piece is unmarked, and no maker's label is present.
