A contemporary still-life bronze of a quince, mounted on a round plinth. Here the artist reverses the usual play of finishes: the fruit itself gleams in brilliant mirror-polished gold, full and rounded, catching and bending the light, while the leaves above are rendered in a dark, matte patina that curls and twists like real foliage. The contrast of luminous golden body and shadowed leaves gives this small piece a rich, jewel-like presence — a humble fruit rendered precious.

Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and mounted on an integrated round bronze base. Signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Made to order — a hand-cast, limited piece rather than a stock object.
