This is a lovely little [Walnut? veneered?] chest of 3-drawers. It appears to be quite old ~ most likely an antique (as compared to similar listings). Could perhaps be a salesman's sample or simply a trinket box. It was purchased from an antique dealer's estate.
The piece was cleaned and received a fresh coat of shellac, applied as a french polish.
All drawers are dovetailed, the base / bottom panel; the drawers were reconditioned with Howard Feed-N-Wax.
The crack in the back and in the 3rd drawer bottom show the piece's age.
No chipping to the veneer.
Comes complete with the button, as found!
