Originally purchased by the seller’s father in the 1980s directly from a Danish furniture importer in Austin, Texas, the table has been beautifully preserved in a single family home.

A rarer variant of the classic Scandinavian refectory table, this piece features an elegant, cupped-edge apron (skirt) that wraps tightly around the perimeter. This clever design feature completely conceals the extensions from view when retracted, maintaining a perfectly clean, minimalist silhouette. The table utilizes a precision-engineered, smooth-track wooden slider system that allows for seamless, one-person operation. The self-stowing leaves glide out effortlessly from beneath the main tabletop and lift into place in seconds, eliminating any need for independent leaf storage.

Structurally impeccable, the table sits on sleek, solid teak tapered legs that mount flush to the frame. The main tabletop displays a gorgeous, deep honey-brown vintage teak patina with rich, expressive cathedral grain patterns.
