The cabinet features a clean rectangular form, attractive teak grain and a pair of flush-fitting doors with distinctive sculpted wooden handles. The doors open to reveal a spacious interior with a full-width shelf, offering practical storage for glassware, drinks, records, books or household essentials. The original red and gold G-Plan label remains in place.

During restoration, the original base was removed and replaced with slim tapered black metal legs. This sympathetic update raises the cabinet from the floor, gives it a more refined silhouette and makes it easier to incorporate into modern interiors. Each leg is fitted with an adjustable foot to help level the cabinet on slightly uneven flooring.

Its compact proportions make it particularly versatile. It could be used as a small sideboard, drinks cabinet, hallway cupboard, media cabinet or living-room storage unit. This piece has an attribution mark,
