The … Read more A striking G-Plan Fresco mid-century teak sideboard, fully restored to revive its rich timber tones and distinctive sculptural detailing.

The sideboard offers excellent practical storage through three upper drawers and three lower cupboard doors. The central drawer retains its original fitted cutlery dividers with a deep purple felt lining, while the cupboards provide generous shelving for tableware, glassware, records or household essentials.

Characteristic recessed wooden handles run across the drawer fronts, complemented by matching sculpted handles on the cupboard doors. The warm teak panels are framed by darker timber, creating the layered, architectural appearance associated with the Fresco range.

During restoration, the original wooden base was removed and replaced with slim tapered black metal legs. This considered update gives the sideboard a lighter, more contemporary profile while retaining its original proportions, cabinetry and handles. The original red G-Plan label also remains attached inside one of the cupboard doors.
