It has one wide drawer with two beautifully carved oval wooden handles that sit proud of the drawer front — a warm and tactile detail that is very typical of Scandinavian furniture design from this era. Below the drawer sits an open shelf, ideal for storing shoes, bags, or baskets.
The piece is made from oak, which gives it a lighter, more golden tone compared to the darker teak pieces of the same period. The grain is clean and even across the drawer front, sides and top, and the wood has aged beautifully to a warm honey colour.
It stands on four tapered oak legs that are solid and sturdy, giving the piece a light and elegant feel despite its low, wide proportions.
